I have 2 feeders that are going on their 4th season. On one of them part of the plastic landing pad broke off, along with some minor fading to the bases. They have held up quite well. Right now I am going through 64 ounces in -12 hour period. So I decided to buy another one. Not to mention you can get replacement parts. Oh did I mention, made in the good old USA!!!

It holds a lot of nectar. Its a little tricky to clean if you do not have a bottle brush - but if you do its simple. I actually dish wash my entire feeder and its never hurt the feeder other than the red stickers coming off the side of the bottle. For the price you can't beat this feeder and the birds really do like this one. Check out BK's Wildlife World on YouTube as there is a video on that channel that shows birds fighting over this feeder.

This is a fine feeder. I prefer less plastic, so the glass bottle is nice (if you break it, just replace with a quart vinegar bottle!). It's easy to clean (I use a foam brush, a bottle brush and a pinhole brush). But I have trouble with the flat feeding surface that collects water in rainy conditions. My hummers will ignore this feeder when it's wet outside; I wish the feeder surface had a bit of an outward curve to it to eliminate buildup.

I was having a severe problem with Honey Bees. It was at the point where they were even trying to attack me when I went to change out the nectar. I finally decided enough was enough and went online to order this feeder and a supplemental smaller one just like it. It said "bee proof" so I thought I would give it a try. I put it up the day it arrived and took the old one down and put it away. After a day the bees left and I have not seen them since. It has been up a week and I have yet to see a bee around it or the smaller one. If you are having a problem with bees you might want to consider this feeder. Great choice.

While this feeder is wonderful for feeding large numbers of hummers(we feed approx. 150-200), the bottoms deteriorate quickly and are very pricey to replace. This is bad design on the company's part. I am trying to figure out a more permanent solution.
