Create a bluebird trail with our economical BestBasic bluebird houses, now available in a six pack.
These nesting boxes have all the features necessary for bluebirds:
1 1/2 inch entry hole, drainage, ventilation, and a flip-up door for cleaning and inspections.
Bluebird houses should be located in open areas or at the edge of a pasture, field or orchard, where bluebirds can see the ground dwelling insects they thrive on. Place houses 4-5 feet high, preferably on a pole. To set up a bluebird trail for Eastern bluebirds, place several houses 100 - 150 yards apart. For Mountain and Western bluebirds, place houses at least 300 yards apart. Front panel can be unscrewed for easy cleanout. White pine, 10 x 7 x 4 3/4 inches.
