I use this water cooler for the wild birds year around. This cooler is good for keeping water clean, but the color is not attractive hanging in front of my yard. Also whenever you change water, it's not easy to screw back correctly even out then you have to turn upside down. But so far, this is the best among all the bird hanging water coolers in the market now. I really wish they can make with better quality materials using s/steel or at least pretty colors other than black.

Purchased this a couple of months ago. Looks like little birds would be using it, but so far they have completely ignored it. We have changed water regularly. It is in back of flower garden on a shepherd's hook. A Mourning Dove sometimes sits on the other side of the double hook - but haven't seen any birds drinking or bathing. We will leave it out through the summer but not much hope this will change. Might work in another person's yard but so far, not here. NC
