Bluebird nest box
We really like it! We attached it to a 6-foot pole (with a baffle). Within a day or two, we had a male/female pair who moved right in. Nest appears to be finished so fingers crossed...

This house is so pretty ~ our Bluebird residents LOVE it!
Like the other commenter, our bluebirds seem so happy ~ We cannot get enough of watching them. This is our first foray into Blue-Birding & we love their pretty home (it matches their blue coloring). I want to be able to check their egg-laying progress, though. I have purchased a selfie stick so I can see their eggs. It seems like it will be easy to clean when they leave.

5 babies fledge after putting last years nest in it!
I put this house up last year after having sparrow problems. My pair of bluebirds kept fighting the sparrows for the traditional box they used last year. I saved their old nest and put it in this box and finally have success! They are getting ready to have a second brood. I only wish that it was easier to access. I put my iPhone on a selfie stick to monitor.

Nestbox picked over wood box with circle hole
It was fun to watch our bluebird pair going first to the wood nestbox with the one inch circle hole and then over to the resin bluebird box with the about one by three inch rectangular hole. They would go back and forth. The female liked that she could go in the resin box and look out while sitting on a small shelf inside this box. Ultimately after checking each for several days, she picked the resin box with the rectangular entrance and shelf that she could look out from when not sitting on her eggs..
