 The perches on this clever tube feeder are weight-sensitive and will only support smaller songbirds. Now you can eliminate squirrels, starlings, grackles and blue jays from dominating the seed supply. This feeder is truly squirrel-proof and does its job keeping squirrels away. Red squirrels, grey squirrels, and even chipmunks cause perches to drop. Each perch is individually sprung and calibrated for birds up to the weight of approximately 2 ounces. Built in seed flow director keeps seed fresh at all four ports. The metal cap and feeder base are burgundy powder coated metal. Hanging (hanger included).
