This feeder had many good features
I like this feeder a lot. The augur makes for a sturdy setup. I have never seen a squirrel make it to the feed tray. The design keeps seeds completely dry. It's easy to clean. The only problem I have is that it is such a comfortable perch that it has come to be dominated by grackles and red wings that scare off smaller birds. Doves endlessly gorge themselves and refuse to leave.

Worth the money!
Recently got this squirrel-proof feeder, because our feeder was dominated by squirrels - "eating us out of house and home". The squirrels have been completely baffled by this feeder and now have quit trying. Love the auger post. So easy to put up. Also, birds of all sizes like it. Cardinals were very shy at first. They use it now.
