Attract butterflies to your backyard!

Place your butterfly feeder where it can easily be found by butterflies, such as near flowers or other places where you see them land.

To make a healthy solution for butterflies, first make simple syrup. Add 1 cup of white table sugar to 1 cup of bottled water and bring it almost to a boil. Right before the water starts to boil, the sugar-water solution will become clear. Immediately remove it from the heat and allow it to cool. Then take 3 ounces of water or Gatorade and add 1 teaspoon of simple syrup to it. Then add about 6 drops of soy sauce. This is a very important part of the solution. Then soak the two sponges that came with your feeder in the solution.

You can also attract butterflies by using the cups to serve extra-ripe banana pieces or small slices of watermelon.
