My favorite thing about this feeder is that I can offer a variety of treats to the birds that I couldn't with my other feeders...and it's great that the cracked sunflower seeds stay in the tray and don't end up all over my patio as they did before! Some of the ground-feeding birds seemed a bit hesitant to use the platform feeder at first, but they quickly adapted and I'm even seeing more visits from cardinals since hanging this feeder.

This is a GREAT feeder. You can put any type seed in this feeder and it is easy to maintain and keep clean. But best of all, the birds love it. I own two and they are my favorite feeder. The birds seem to enjoy when the wind makes the feeder swing, they just keep right on feeding. And when it rains the water drains through and this cuts down on waste. I highly recommend this feeder!

I hanged the feeder from a tree and filled with black oil sunflower and peanuts. within minutes, chickadees, finches, cardinals, and blue jays were enjoying the new feeder. well made. has mesh flooring for drainage.
