It's going back!
For $90, I expected better. As mentioned in other reviews, it's (obviously) difficult to fill and even more difficult to clean; we're not even going to try. If there is a simple trick to cleaning it, then put it in the product description - as it is not obvious. In a year where the news is full of salmonella outbreaks amongst birds, it's crucial to keep the feeders clean.

My new favorite feeder!
Squirrels and chipmunks (and raccoons and black bears) are a huge challenge to bird feeding here in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. I recently purchased this feeder to thwart the squirrels because other feeders had been constantly raided and destroyed by various critters. My feeders were hung from a 4" X 4" post and I could not find a baffle to fit the post. I finally found a baffle made for a post at Duncraft and it has completely solved at least my squirrel and chipmunk problems. I still bring the feeders inside at night (at least until winter when black bears are sleeping) so as not to tempt raccoons or bears. Small birds LOVE this feeder and larger birds can still access dropped seeds from the edges of the bottom tray. The only thing that I think could be improved is if the manufactureer would make it easier to fill. Between the two washer "squirrel stppoers" and the handle that does not allow the top to clear the tube opening, it is very difficult to fill without spilling seed all over. I have been using a canning funnel to fill the feeder and that helps. I have not seen a squirrel on or in this feeder, but that can be attributed at least partly to the post-mounted baffle that has stopped them all. I would recommend to anyone with a squirrel problem that he/she add a baffle to the post or pole. Even non-squirrel-proof feeders have been safe so far.

Update to Previous Review
I've added a star to my review since I just noticed that the tube has a removable piece at the bottom to allow access for cleaning. Makes the job a lot easier. Sorry I didn't realize it had that feature sooner. Great feeder!

Small birds love it
I've had this feeder for over 5 years and use it year-round. It's the perfect diameter for small birds, giving them enough room to hop around inside. It's very sturdy and the squirrels have given up trying to access the seed. My only complaint is that it's very difficult to clean. Get out the tools to take it apart to do a really good job and prepare to be somewhat frustrated! Wish that problem could be solved.

Great Feeder but Hard to Clean
I really like this feeder. I wanted to keep the grackles, starlings and birds of similar size away. The small birds finally have a chance to feed ! However, I find it difficult to clean and wish it could come apart to do so.
