Sad loss
This house is difficult to clean ... the bottom doesn't want to come off easily. I bought this product due to the sparrow-resistant statement. Well, I put the house up and the next day we had a bluebird couple making a home. But .. after they laid their eggs, the blasted sparrows came and killed all eggs. And they decided to take over the house. I have taped up the opening to prevent the sparrows from entering, but may have to take down the house ... very sad to lose such beautiful bird babies to those mean sparrows!

Bluebirds Love it!
We've had "regulation" bluebird houses in our yard for years and never attracted any bluebirds even though at times we've had flocks pass through. I bought this bluebird house this year to see if it would work any better than those I had. We put it up in May and I had about given up on any birds taking residence when I noticed a nest in it but figured it was some other bird. Then I thought I saw a flash of blue entering and exiting. When I checked the box I found five small blue eggs in it. Now my husband and I are watching Mr. and Mrs. Bluebird rush back and forth feeding their children. We are very excited! I highly recommend this bluebird house.
