Our bestselling Squirrel Blocker—now as a window feeder

We've taken our bestselling Squirrel Blocker feeder and added a window bracket and suction cups. Watch goldfinches cling to the outer mesh and feed up close at your window—and keep squirrels off! Fill with black oil sunflower seed, shelled peanuts or whole sunflower hearts. Includes four strong suction cups to hold the feeder firmly to your window. All-metal caging with a squirrel lock. There's open caging on the bottom, so seed won’t accumulate. Feeder measures 5-1/8 x 16 inches tall.

  • Attract goldfinches & others to feed up close at your window
  • Features 1 inch outer caging to restrict access to gray squirrels

Really Squirrel Proof!
We have two indoor cats that love to sit in the window and watch the world. A year ago I had Coneflowers planted in the flower bed along the front windows. When the Coneflowers produced seeds Gold Finches came every day until the seeds were gone. Our cats loved watching the Gold FInches. I got a cheap stick on feeder that was not squirrel proof. After having the Squirrel eat the seed and even pull the feeder off the suction cups and break it I needed a better feeder. Since Christmas 2015 Squirrels have climbed on the feeder but have not dislodged it from the window or gotten any seed. I am today ordering my second feeder. The current feeder has sunflower seeds and I will put wild bird seed mix in the new feeder to attract more birds for my cats to watch.

Sturdy but not squirrel-proof
Solid construction and adheres to the window easily, but the squirrels here can easily lift up the little metal disc and then lift up the lid to feast. I bought two of these for my sister and was disappointed to hear the squirrels were able to defeat them. I really think all it needs is a second metal disc; one on each side of the handle. Also, the discs need to fit the handle more tightly. Please consider making these changes, Duncraft. For sure it will be an awesome product after that!
