The birds love this bath and it is a great size, but cleaning it is when you notice the fact that it is not solid. You have to snap the bowl on and off the base to clean it and today when I went to do it the entire bracket that is the attachment to connect the bowl to the base fell into the base. It is a bird bath which means to keep it sanitary it really needs cleaning every two to three days, especially as it is so popular. But it winter weather to have this kind of breakdown happen is incredibly annoying. Why it does not have a simple latch to hold base to bowl that can be easily unlatched for simple tipping, I don't know. In the winter cleaning needs to be quick and efficient and I do not find it so with this bowl/base arrangement. Other than this, it is a good bath. But this problem is an issue.

Perfect for winter weather
I've used this birdbath for three winters now. I added a thermostat that you would use on heat tape so I don't waste electricity. It's easy to clean and the birds love it.
