This nectar is a fantastic alternative to all other store-bought nectars that contain harmful dyes and additives. When I first head about the product I found the FB Page and grilled them with questions regarding safety to the birds. I asked how it is made, if it contained anything but sugar and water, etc. I found that the nectar could be a safe alternative. When I first received the product, I checked the ingredient label FIRST. It said sugar and water. I then actually did a taste test. Tasted just like the 4:1 nectar ratio that I make at home. Next was the biggest test of all. I put it out for the hummingbirds to try in an Aspects Humblossum feeder long side an identical feeder with my homemade nectar. Absolutely no preference at all. They visited both feeders equally. I also tested the disposable feeder at the same time. The hummingbirds took right to it and used it as equally as the feeders they were used to. Both products are safe and I would defiantly recommend to a hummingbird lover who cannot make their own food or doesn't want to.
