Love Blue Box
Love my big blue box topped with blue guard in my Garden. However, it took the Grackles a while but after chasing all the other birds away "learned" to stand on the side of the feeder guard putting little pressure to close opening for feeding. Changed from Sunflower chips to Safflower seeds Grackles don't like to keep them away.

I am delighted to report this is my favorite bird feeder after many unwise purchases. The squirrels and grackles were ruling my garden, and I missed the wrens, finches, cardinals, and bluejays. I mounted it with a 14" baffle on the heavy-duty twist-in mounting pole. It shifted the power dynamics in the garden. The squirrels and mourning doves eat what the songbirds kick to the ground. But best of all, the grackles moved onto another yard.

Love this feeder.......But
Birds love this feeder, as do the squirrels. While it took several weeks for them to figure out, the little tree rats hang off the top and eat out of the opening pushing the bar to get extra seed. The feeder hands off 15 feet of rope with the closest branch about 7 feet away. The squirrels soar from the branch to the feeder occasionally over or under shooting and sliding off. It is extremely entertaining to watch.

Highly recommend this feeder!
This feeder is by far my new favorite. I literally had a titmouse on it 5 minutes after hanging it up. I love that the birds can feed from both sides. Get yours today your birds will love it!
