I chose this feeder because I wanted something "different". This is my first hummingbird feeder at my currant location. It seemed to take awhile before I was getting any birds interest. I will take the advice from the previous reviewer and paint some nail polish on the top. I like that it is a glass feeder. I'm not a fan of plastic ones. I'm hoping to add different feeders for a variety

This is a lovely feeder. I'm enjoying it immensely. However, the hummers, at first, weren't. The glass flower insert has a dark red color that the hummers were avoiding. After I applied some bright red nailpolish to brighten the flower.....the hummers lined up at the feeder. Now, Everyone is enjoying it.
