Hummingbird House
Invite hummingbirds to nest! For anyone who's ever wanted to attract nesting hummingbirds, our hummingbird house has been created to mimic a hummingbird’s natural nesting location.
The Hummingbird House comes with two metal frames shaped like a forked branch of a tree where hummers build an open-cupped nest. Also includes a leaf "umbrella" for overhead protection, a landing branch, and starter nesting material. Mounting hardware and complete instructions are provided.
Hummingbirds will not nest in a windy location, so the best place to mount the hummingbird house is under an eave of your house or in a corner. Two nesting frames have been provided because hummers often start two nests and then choose the location that is the least windy. The hummingbird house has proven successful with Anna’s hummers, Black-chinned, Broad Tailed, Magnificent and Ruby-throated hummers. 2-1/2 x 3 inches.
