I was skeptical when I bought this product, but it turned out to be amazing. It was easy to install and it has lasted for nine years in all seasons including Wisconsin winters. It still looks as good as new. I would definitely recommend this. It's worth the price and better than the steel rods with the complicated installation systems.

This was a splurge for my birthday and mother's day because my husband really likes the look / clean lines of this 4-way bird feeder holder — yes, he is tired of all my shepherds hooks. The post is a rounded square, thin, hollow, and made of smooth plastic. Two long matching smooth plastic pieces slide through 2 rounded rectangular holes at the top of the post, to form the 4 arms. These two pieces have something inside (styrofoam?) up to about the last 3" on each end. The hooks, as the pic shows, connect via holes on the end of the arms. Setup is quick and easy and the post is lightweight so one person can do it. But, 3 nit-picky things, because the details on this are sparse: 1) The product itself is a light tan (putty?) — not even close to white as shown. I guess that's fine. I just don't get why the only photo is incorrect. (I took photos but apparently can't upload on Duncraft.com. So just know that it's just a shade or two lighter than the color of the cardboard box it came in) 2) The arm pieces (which are tucked inside the post for shipping) came wrapped in newspaper that leaves ink smudges all over them. This makes the pieces look scuffed up, until you realize what it is and that you can wipe it off. 3) I have to take off one star because this is so ridiculously overpriced. I would expect, even here in Northern Virginia, to buy this in a specialty wildlife store at MAYBE $140, just because of the length of the post and the auger at the bottom. But no way should this be $350. There's just no reason. However, my husband likes the look very much, and we couldn't find anything similar and he's not one to build it himself (nor am I) ... so, we will keep it and enjoy it. But, man. 

Very sturdy and able to hold my heavier bird feeders. Great buy.

Shopped at a competitor to purchase poles/baffled for many years. This looks so nice set up w/out a baffle attached. It's a high quality product and easy to install. We love it and will buy more to replace our other rusting poles.
