When we set-up this bath in our own yard, we couldn’t believe how many birds came to visit. Birds love baths with the proper footing and depth, just like puddles where they naturally bathe. Features stonelike, non-slip surface with multiple bathing levels and stable footing for your birds. Molded polyresin and fiberglass birdbath, safe for use with a heater. Measures approximately 18 x 24-1/2 x 4-3/4 inches tall.

  • Ground birdbath for year-round use
  • Attract birds with water to drink, bathe & preen
  • Features multiple water depths to attract birds of all sizes
  • Safe for use with a heater in freezing weather

Most popular with the birds
I have four birdbaths (I feel like a pool attendant) and the Rocky Mountain Spring Bathbird is the favorite of my feathered community. I didn't put it out right away but did after I saw a juvenile sparrow hesitant to step into the normal (deeper) birdbath. After I set out the Rocky Mountain, I saw four juvenile sparrows “having a blast” taking a group bath. The fun scene was worth “the price of the ticket”. I think the Rocky Mountain can serve as a baby pool for the little birds as it has different depths so the juveniles can enter in the shallow end to get used to it. The Rocky Mountain is also a favorite amongst all the birds. The enjoyment I see in the birds using this birdbath proves to me that birds feel joy. The Rocky Mountain takes a little more time to maintain as it gets dirtier due to the high usage. I put it on top of an old door mat, so the birds and animals are less likely to track in dirt. The bird bath also tends to grow some algae, but I treat that with some vinegar and a stiff brush. The enjoyment I have watching the birds using the Rocky Mountain makes it worth the extra time to maintain.

Fun alternative to pedestal bird bath
I ordered this bird bath on impulse based on the positive reviews, and I'm really glad I did. At first I wasn't sure birds would be attracted to a bath on the ground. It did take about 2 weeks to see any activity, but boy did they line up to use it after those first tentative visits! We've had 3 bluebirds splashing in it at the same time, with all sorts of other birds stopping by for a sip of water. The rough surface and natural-looking (varied) base provide a variety of depths and easy escape for all types of critters. I have NOT had trouble keeping it clean.

Not fun to clean but everyone loves it!
Birds of all sizes love this bath, as well as squirrels and chipmunks. But the nooks, crannies and textured bottom that are part of its attraction are what make it hard to clean. Thus far, have resisted getting a special brush just for this. Muscle my big one into the corners best I can, which does a B+/A- job. The fact that it's solid but also light enough to move easily, looks great and attracts every living creature in my yard makes up for the extra fuss. The pleasure of watching a whole flock of little birds having a pool party in it is probably worth the price of a new brush. :)

Bird Lover
An outstanding, much loved, bird bath!
I just ordered my second bath, after using and loving my first one for the past 10 years. A simple cleaning remedy is to fill the bath with Clorox bleach every couple of weeks in the summer and then rinse thoroughly! Just make sure you rinse it over concrete and not your grass, as the bleach will harm the latter. My year round, ground feeding birds LOVE this bath....Doves, Curve Billed Thrashers, Western Meadowlarks, both for drinking and bathing. It is also beloved by migratory songbirds, such as Warblers and Indigo Buntings that visit our yard in the Spring and Fall. An outstanding product!

Busy Place
Like to provide for all the creatures who need water. We've had deer, squirrels, rabbits that visit this bird bath as well as the competition of all of the birds. Little birds love the shallow end. Even have doves bathing in it!
