I have had mine for over 2 years now. I and my birds LOVE it. It works fantastic. The capacitor/battery is recharged by bright sunlight and it will run for at least 24 hours without sun (cloudy days) when fully charged by the sun. I have very few days each year when it does not run - usually when we have more than two days in a row without sun. I live in Missouri so judge your location accordingly. I have it out all year long with a heated birdbath in the winter that keeps the water from freezing. I did have a raccoon throw it upside down and ruin the first battery/capacitor, but I just wrote the company and they let me purchase a replacement part without any hassle. Great product. Makes the birdbath much more appealing to the birds than still water. I would recommend this without hesitation.

The product works well but must be in FULL sun all day or will not wiggle.
