Natural, Elegant, Easy-to-clean
We have several hummer feeders, but this one rapidly became their favorite because it is the most natural for them: they have to hover as they feed, as they would with a flower. Makes it more entertaining to watch as well. Plus the combination of simple glass feeders and iron frames is elegant even when hummers aren't feeding. And the dishes and tops are easier to clean than even the simplest plastic dish feeders.

I'm buying another one right now!
I was reluctant to get a hummingbird feeder because the other designs are a bit "kitchy". But I really LOVE this beautiful, modern feeder, and I'm now getting a second one to hang from it too. It's really the only modern-designed hummingbird feeder I've found in the market (and I also bought the larger, open dish version - by the same company - for seeds. Finches and other birds really seem to love that one too)...HELPFUL HINT: For those who feel the hummers don't feed from it, I emailed Duncraft about the same issue. A very helpful representative gave me some great advice, which I'll share with you: CHANGE THE LOCATION! I'd first hung it from a high tree branch on the south west part of our yard. It took them a while to feed from it there, plus it was too far away for us to see the birds. Then I moved it closer to the house, hanging it from the southeast corner of the roof so we could watch them feed better. But for whatever reason, the hummingbirds didn't seem to like those 2 spots nearly as much as as when I moved it to the southeast corner of our home, just a few feet from our back door and outdoor dining area. Now? They LOVE it. The new feeder placement actually gets the most traffic from both humans AND outdoor cats, but the hummingbirds still swarm to it there (go figure)! Maybe they like feeling like "part of the family"... I hope this helps someone!

Love these Hummingbird Feeders
I love these hummingbird feeders. I use them in late spring and summer to feed the hummingbirds. I hang them under the eavesdrop on the porch and never have a problem with rain. Plus, they are ease to clean and since I have been using these I haven't had any problems with wasps. During the fall and winter months I remove the lids and fill the feeders with bird seed.

Easiest to clean!
The hummingbirds found the feeders by the second day and use/guard them. I've tried feeding in the past but give up because I hate cleaning the feeders, dirty feeders are unhealthy for hummer's, these though are super easy. I can pull them down so fast and give them a quick scrub and they're back up in minutes, or I put them in the dishwasher and throw up a second set. Glass can be cleaned or sterilized easily, plus doesn't degrade from the sun or elements. Because of the bottom reservoir design there is no dripping but that does limit how much it can hold, they would have to make a larger diameter one to hold more nectar. The company does make one with a perch, they just don't carry that one on this site yet. My birds rest on the top all the time between feeding. Because of the heavy bottom glass they are very stable in the high winds we have here on the hill. Which brings me to my only complaint and design flaw as I see it, the lid. It slides off very easily and I have already in the short time that I have own them broken two. If they would just make the lip a little more pronounced it wouldn't slide off so easily. I only gave them 4 stars because of the lid. I think these feeders are great and have a very simple cool design.
