This worked great for awhile. Today I noticed a squirrel using it to gain access to my feeder. Took a picture to send to a friend who is a bird watcher also and has the same feeder and I recommended this to her. She is having the same problem. They hang from it and eat out of the feeder. Took it off. Too bad as it does keep the feeder cleaner. Also this squirrel eats hot seed that I have in the feeder.

Takes a little time to set it up.
Highly recommend to keep the instructions and follow them step by step.
Birds love the idea of being protected from the rain while eating.
