We were very frustrated with critter problems with our feeders. Eating all the food and the damage that was being caused. This squirrel guard is wonderful. It is actually fun to watch them try and get up the pole with it on.

I love the little red squirrels but they take over the feeders meant for small birds so I ordered this baffle and I laughed so hard because try as he might and believe me he tried the little red squirrel couldn't beat this one -- I bought him a bottle feeder of his own and he is in heaven and I'm a totally happy bird feeder. I was so happy I ordered another one for summer feeders. Love this product!!!

For years I have had 2 of these baffles in use, on poles far enough away from tree branches that squirrels can't jump onto my feeders. Never, not once, has any squirrel ever gotten beyond the baffle. It's fun to see them try to climb the pole, only to give up in a short time! Remember, this must be installed onto a pole that comes apart so that at least one end is absolutely straight. I'm ordering at least one more. (I have gobs of squirrels in the woods.)

Have had one of these for over eight years. The only anti-squirrel device I've tried that works 100% of the time keeping them from clinbing up the pole to get at the feeder. Just position pole far enough away so they can't jump on to the feeder and there's no way a squirrel can get to the feeder - period.
