The only reason I did not give this five stars is due to the difficulty to assemble it. It definitely takes two people to do. BUT once installed you will not regret it. I have seen all sizes of squirrel run up the pole and stop dead in their tracks. It also outwits our raccoons. Very clever spring design inside makes it simply confounding. That is also what makes it tricky to assemble but my husband, an industrial designer, couldn't come up with a better idea for how to assemble. Don't let that discourage you, just have an extra pair of hands there to help.
