Four weight-sensitive perches make sure that squirrels and larger birds are unable to get to the seed inside the tube. Anything larger than a small songbird will cause the perch to swing down and drop that particular squirrel or bird to the ground. Comes ready to hang, and is easy to fill and clean.
“The Bouncer” holds 7.5 lbs. of seed, and measures 6 x 6 x 27 inches.

perches tend to break easily
We've enjoyed this for years but as soon as it falls when you accidently drop it, the perches break because they are made of cheap plastic.
If anyone knows where to buy replacements, please let me know.

Best feeder I have found
This is the best feeder I have found. It is actually squirrel proof as well as large bird proof. Grackles can feed with difficulty. I have had this feeder for about 4 years until the tube cracked. I also had a bear attact but it could only bend the hanger and was not successful in breaking the feeder open. I am thrilled to find the same feeder still available. I highly recommend this feeder and it holds a lot of food. It is easy to fill.
