birds are loving the change I made
I felt the depth was too deep for drinking and not enough pools to drink from, but looked to be deep enough for bathing -- I siliconed the electrical opening so as to stop water leakage and now the birds from finches to robins are bathing in that water and loving it!!! Hopefully the manufacturer will redesign it that way sometime. Lowered the rating just 'cuz I had to make it better!!! ;-)
