To be honest, with over 50 years in bird feeding we have not yet found a feeder that offers 100% protection from squirrels, gray or red, eating from the feeder. 99% yes 100% no. Bird feeders that have proven to be 99% successful in our field testing and have pleased almost all our customers we call "squirrel proof". All our squirrel proof feeders provide excellent protection from squirrel damage.
