Solves 2 problems
This resolves 2 issues: seed in the grass, and the pesky doves on my feeders! I finally surrendered to the mourning doves. I can't seem to find a way to keep them off my feeders, without also keeping off the birds I want, like cardinals. The best I can do is give the doves somewhere other than my feeders to eat. While they don't mind the ground, they prefer a feeder. This seed catcher provides what is needed, a way to catch the seed and keep my grass free of weeds, and a way to feed the doves seed that might otherwise be wasted in the grass, saving the seed in the feeders for the birds I want to feed. It's so incredibly easy to perch on and eat, it's literally like a platform feeder hanging from an above feeder catching the seed that drops. The doves congregate on this instead of the feeder above, which has a shallower perch. This frees up the feeders for the birds I WANT to attract. And, because of its somewhat flimsy/mesh/hanging on strings, the squirrels don't see to be interested.

Yes I would buy this product again
I use the 24" seed hoops under my feeders.. I cut the cloth off and added small chain.. Now the hoops stay more put, don't swing as much and the squirrels stay off cause I have them about 4" below the bottom of the feeder. Just enough room for my birds and doves to get in to feed.

I would not buy this net again
This net will catch the seeds that do fall, but the problem, if there is a squirrel that comes to your feeder he will find his way to the net and spend time there which deters the birds from coming. I have the squirrel buster and the squirrel came and chewed the cords that support the net finding the net on the ground. Also the net will blow around on windy days. If your in a snowy region the net will get very heavy with snow.
