Attract birds year-round with our versatile heated bath

Watch birds drink, splash and preen—the open water is essential for birds when natural water sources are frozen solid. Thermostatically controlled heated bath only turns on once temperatures drop below freezing to conserve energy. The heater is nestled safely between two layers of durable white plastic resin. Includes 6 inch cord underneath the basin, add your own outdoor extension cord. Run your own cord up the hollow pedestal, where the cord remains hidden from view. Optional: fill the hollow pedestal with gravel or sand for stability. 2 inches deep. 20 inch diameter basin. Stands 26-1/2 inches tall above the ground.

  • 150-watt heated pedestal birdbath
  • Attract birds with drinking water in cold weather
  • Features thermostatically controlled heater to conserve energy
  • Unlatch the basin & tilt up for easy cleaning

I love this product
Easy clean, keeps water unfrozen in the coldest weather. Truly happy with this one and hope and pray the other one works half as well as this one does.

Regrets over buying this bath
We put this bath on our deck. It is a flat surface and the base sits straight but the top tilts, no matter how many times we have attempted to adjust it. The top has a metal bracket that twists onto the base that is plastic. In the hot sun it seems that area warms up and allows the top to tilt. Also, there is a very obvious ridge of plastic from when it was made, looks cheap. There is a hole at the bottom/side above a plug that is in the bottom, we assume is to run a cord through. Sand leaks out of the hole. We had to patch it with duct tape. So disappointed in this bath. The only reason we didn't return it is because it is filled with sand and would be a pain in the neck to empty. Although tilted it holds enough water for the birds to drink from.

I am buying one again
I purchased one of these some years ago and have been most satisfied with its performance in all kinds of Wyoming weather. I plug it in in the Fall whenever the weather threatens to go below freezing and leave it plugged in through the winter and early Spring. Water is available for birds in the coldest and windiest conditions, even though there might be just a small hole in the middle of ice during the very worst conditions. One thing it will not stand up to, and the reason I am having to buy another one, is 2.5 inch solid hail; a recent hail storm punched two holes in the top surface of the bowl. I have had birds in size from Red-breasted Nuthatches to Eurasian Collared-Doves use the bath and none seem to have problems of any kind -- no slipping, not too deep. Time to put in my order.

It Works!
This is a good birdbath for northern winters. Living in North Dakota, winters can be quite harsh. This never freezes totally. Have seen mornings with only a hole open in the center where the birds can get water, but at least the water is available. This has happened when it is very cold and windy and the bird bath is not full. I tend to fill it in the morning, so the lower level of water at night allows for freezing around the edge when extremely cold. I only use this in the winter months since I have 3 others.

New Bath
Just received the bath. Well built and easy to assemble. Fortunate the power cord was long enough I didn't an extension. I was really looking for a bath with a heater and a bubbler (non-solar powered). Looks like no one builds them
