Provide the perfect perching space for cardinals

Cardinals love feeders with wide trays—just like this one! Watch smaller birds cling and feed from the wire mesh, while larger birds like cardinals feed from the tray. The extra wide roof protects the seed from rain and snow for fewer refills. Includes wire hanger with locking roof. All-metal and mesh construction with vibrant red powder coated finish. 11-1/2 x 12 inches tall.

  • Holds 2-1/2 lbs. of seed
  • Attract cardinals to feed from the bottom tray
  • Features clinging & perching space to attract more birds
  • Remove the roof for filling from the top

Have 2 small issues but love it
I truly love this feeder. However I have the following 2 issues that probably won't effect you. #1) I buy seed in bulk. The sunflower seeds are too large to go through the mesh. This causes me to purchase a separate type of seed.I'm particular that way. #2) This one is funny. My squirrels figured out how to slide the hooks that fasten the lid down so they can eat from the top. One day I actually caught a squirrel inside of the feeder! They have broken 3 feeders. As in rendered useless. That kind of broken. One supposed "squirrel proof " feeder had a heavy duty bolt removed so they could open the lid. They are clever overeaters and overachievers. But they are cute.

pepsy the bird hunter
Cardinals do use bird feeders!!
No birds for the first week, then 1 cardnial came to the feeder and now he thinks it is "his" personal tray. Have had grosebeeks and sparrows eat here. Holds many birds at one time.
