I was skeptical as a newcomer that I would get bluebirds to use this house. I post mounted it two months before breeding season. I put out a feeder with roasted mealworms. They first came to the feeder and then began checking out the house. In no time at all, they began bringing in nesting materials. They are building the nest at this time. We are delighted and anxiously waiting to see what happens!
