You attract many goldfinches, buntings and house finches with this feeder, they all wait in line to use this feeder. My problem came with this feeder when I bought replacement tubes. I have had this feeder for many years,approxiatemately 8. I replaced the tubes because they had becomed cracked with age and exposure to the elements. That's when my feeder started falling apart too. That is the only time I have been frustrated with it.

As soon as we hung this feeder it attracted the goldfinches from far and wide. Waiting room only at the deckrail. What a sight!! Holds a good amount of seed. Made with heavy duty materials however, there is no mechanism to hold the tubes to the top other than a tight fit. I have come home on several occasions to find it on the ground and seed spilled everywhere. Worth the price - on sale.
