Beat bird bath for winter
My feathered friends love this bath. Keeps water from freezing. I dump old water out, wipe clean and refill every other day.

Could Be Improved
This bird bath is functionally satisfactory; although the sparrows wish it had greater surface area. However, a better stability system would be great. I suppose setting the post in concrete would work, but I'm currently working with the bird bath wobbling. It would also be nice if the bath itself was easily removed from the post....replace the stationary screws with something that would allow removal for cleaning. As yet, I do not know how well the heating function works.

Merchant Response

Usually putting the pole deeper into the soil will stabilize it. If the soil is very sandy, backfilling the hole with pea gravel can be very helpful.
