Fun to watch Jack in the Box diversion feeder!

Spark your squirrel’s interest with whole peanuts in their own feeder. Safe and effective for luring squirrels away from your bird feeder, while you save on seed. Watch squirrels step on the lower platform, as the lid "magically" lifts up to provide instant access to the peanuts they love. Includes ventilation and drainage for fewer refills. Mount against any flat surface. Made from Eastern white pine with green recycled plastic trim. 5-1/2 x 8 x 10-1/2 inches.

  • Fill with whole peanuts, up to 2 lb. capacity
  • Distract squirrels from your bird feeder for hours
  • Features clearview plastic front panel for viewing the snack levels
  • Remove the front panel for easy cleaning
  • Made in the USA, available exclusively at Duncraft

Like junior executives around the water cooler.
Works great! The squirrels come from all around the block. Biggest problem is keeping it filled. A magpie tried to rip the lid off and twisted the hinge, but I repaired it easily and put a new birch lid on it while I was at it. After 3 years in all kinds of weather, it could use an overhaul or a replacement, maybe next summer. But price is a concern for such a simple, basic product.

Squirrels love it
The lid does not auto close once the squirrel has left. I glued a small rock on top and that seemed to solve the problem until it started to rain. I will need to glue another small rock once it dries up.
