I bought this because I wanted a platform feeder that hangs from a shepherd's hook, but many of the others were too expensive for me. This is by far the most popular item in my yard, as birds of all sizes can easily perch on it, and the dish is the right size for most food that you'd want to put out. I haven't seen squirrels on it either (I think it's too unstable for them to climb or jump on). The design is attractive, it hasn't been worn away by the weather yet, and the mesh makes it easy to clean. Would buy again!

Well made, sturdy and attractive. The brass colored metal work is very pretty. The mesh is just the right size, not too small & not too big. I was very pleased with the quality and price.
