This product has great features
This product is very well made and easy to assemble and very easy to fill with a scoop. There is a little bar in the bottom of the hopper where the birds feed which help to prevent the seeds from falling on to the ground. With this feeder I now have seeds staying in the feeding tray, not on the ground. You can see the birds feed from both sides. Another very nice feature is the two suet feeders on each side. As soon as I put the feeder up the Summer Tanager did not hesitate to feed on the Suet. I have many birds using the feeder, cardinals, Pine Siskin, Warblers, Finch, etc. This feeder is also very easy to clean.

A reasonable choice for a hopper feeder but hard to fill
This is a nice little feeder, with several drawbacks. The first is that the opening for filling it is small and it takes a while. I'm used to hoppers which the entire roof swings back so I can use a bucket. This takes a fair amount of time and it's fiddly. I also wish the house base screwed to the pole somehow. As it is it sits in the sleeve of the pole, which makes me worry squirrels or raccoons can knock it off. It does seem a bit over-priced. But not so much that I'll return it.
