feeds many birds at once
Holds a lot of food, but because it's collapsible, it has to be held up and dangled to fill. If not, it spills a lot more food. Just filling it this way causes some seed to spill out. It is good that many birds can eat from any location and not compete for a few portals.

Nice feeder generously sized
I bought this feeder for the amount of seed it holds. I filled it with a mostly safflower seed mixed with a little black oil sunflower seeds. The holes allow a portion of the seeds to fall out while filling. I put Coles hot pepper oil in the overflow tray at the bottom to discourage squirrels. I plan to treat the seed mix with the hot oil instead. I wanted a feeder comfortable for cardinals and birds their size. They enjoy it!

Birds empty this one fast!
I'm strictly a backyard birdwatcher. I was hesitant to use this feeder because of pigeons. I finally put it out and several larger doves will land on top of it and just sit there watching the small birds rapidly empty it. It has been out for about a week, so far no pigeons. My biggest probleme with this feeder is keeping it filled with black oil sunflower seeds. The small birds in my neighborhood empty it in about 2-3 days. It does have some seed waste because the seeds catch on the "floors" where the birds can't get to them.
