Beautiful and well made. A button on the lid puts tension on the hanging cord allowing you close it snugly without any complicated tabs or notches to line up. The metallic red gleams in the sun and plays beautifully off bright summer flowers. Compact size (about as big as railroad lantern) allows about 4 birds to feed comfortably at a time. Center tube stays clear allowing you to see the action on all sides of the feeder as it empties. The only drawback is the space between the feeder tray and the tube isa bit snug, about the last half to three-quarters inch of most seed mixes won't dispense until you refill the feeder. Holds about a day's worth of seed.
