A Sky Cafe with dividers so you can feed different seeds
The Sky Cafe A La Carte feeder has four interior sections - you can feed four varieties of seed, so you can attract more birds! Each section opens onto a wide tray and gives all your birds a comfortable place to feed.
And when squirrels try to jump onto the feeder from above, the large, overhanging hood baffles squirrels every time. It has an angled rim that sends squirrels sliding right off the edge of the feeder. And squirrels can't hang from the top and reach the seed. After years of selling this feeder, we have yet to see one chew mark! Squirrels just can't grab hold with their claws or teeth.
Constructed of heavy duty, clear 1/8 inch thick plexiglass. Holds a total of about 10 pounds of seed. Includes 24 inch hanging chain. Dimensions are 17 x 17 inches.

HOLDS A LOT! Birds like it in a storm the sit and rest dry.
Its been s few months since I purchased this feeder and installed it. I remeber a review that really slaughtered the products reputation because of storm damage but I decided to try it anyway. So this has been the year of the storm and mine is still standing. I didn't hang it I mounted it on the recommended pole which was easy by the way. Lets face it any bird feeder can suffer a storm. I reserved the review pending th performance and mine is GREATstanding the year of the rain!

Keeps the seed dry
I chose to put this on a baffled pole. The bottom hole is probably a best fit for the 1" diameter poles sold here but if your are inventive you can get it to fit on other poles a little larger in diameter by getting a narrower fitting to put in the larger diameter pole and then the feeder over this fitting. I just had to cover the hole at the top to keep the rain out. My cardinals were slow to take to it but now all my regular birds go to it and the divider gives you options on the seed you use. I just lift the feeder off the pole, remove the cover, and refill. The seed stays nice and dry and the capacity is very good.

Great for small birds
I bought this b/c it is squirrel retardant. And it does work to keep them form the seed. It seems to be great for smaller birds but larger birds like cardinals, which do still eat from this feeder, appear to have a more difficult time of it. I would buy again.

The Favorite Feeder In Our Yard!
This is an expensive feeder but it's worth it. The birds in our backyard love it; everything from cardinals to finches to blue birds to thrashers to mockingbirds, etc. visit this feeder. The four compartments let you offer an assortment of delights; many birds will try all 4 options and some will focus on only one or two. The suet pears (small white ones) work very well in this feeder and our birds love, love, love them. We also offer dried mealworms and cranberries and they always get eaten quickly. A great feeder!
