Love it
We live in rural area with lots of birds. We hang these from a tall tree to prevent raccoons from helping them self, with the cartridge coming out the bottom makes it easy to refill as needed.
Downside, after a few years the cartridge becomes brittle and will break, they don't sell replacement cartridges so you have to buy a whole new feeder. :(

It really is squirrel resistant
The Squirrel Resistant Easy Feeder is truly squirrel resistant (I have watched them try to get the seeds out and they soon gave up.)and since it takes 4lbs of seed, I only need to fill it once a week. However, because of its size, it is a little bit heavy but I'll take that if it saves me time.

Great for woodpeckers
I have 2 birdfeeders in my back yard. A dome feeder for the smaller birds and this cage feeder for the larger birds. When I put the cage feeder up I got so many woodpeckers, blue jays, brown thrashers. They love the easy way they can hang on to the cage to eat - a fantastic feeder and under $40.00!
