I love this squirrel stopper bird feeder. It definitely stops the squirrels! I purchased three--two for myself and one for my daughter. The quality of the product and the fact seed lasts so much longer than I ever thought possible makes this product more than reasonably priced! The baffle does not enable squirrels to reach the seed. Plus, the three hangers allow for a variety of seed and hold a heavy amount. I have a bigger variety of birds than I have ever had! I also love that a bar is provided to screw the pole anchor into the ground. The line to indicate when to stop is very helpful as I would not think to anchor the pole so deep into the ground. I can't say enough wonderful things about this product!

I live in New England, with pretty rocky soil. this pole system comes with a screw-in-pole base (like you would find with a beach umbrella), and it worked great. took me two tries to find an area with no rocks, but that's not the product's fault! (at first I didn't see the screw-in-base - it's kind of tucked in to the packaging material, and I didn't read the directions, so didn't realize to look for it. it's super helpful. make sure you look through the whole packaging before trying to install). the squirrel baffle works great as well - for the month I've had it, no unwanted critters have gotten to my feeders. very happy with quality of pole system, and how easy it was to set up.
