Update to my previous review
The squirrels found where I moved this feeder in the front yard. I have now added a small metal clamp to the feeder and it has successfully kept the squirrels from opening the feeder. The extra step is worth it because this feeder is fun to watch. Maybe the manufacturer will eventually offer the feeder with a metal clamp already included.

It works but requires additional steps
I love this seed bell holder because it allows birds of all sizes to easily attach to it and feed. Squirrels share the bird feeders in our yard and when they climb on the seed bell holder, their weight is enough to detach the clip and the seed bell falls out on the ground. I have found many seed bells at the base of the feeder on the ground. The squirrels try to carry them off to eat in private. My husband showed me how to attach a twist tie that will support the squirrel's weight and it worked for a while. Now I have to add 2 twist ties to because the squirrels managed to chew through one twist tie and get the seed bell to fall again. I have now moved the seed bell to a tree in the front yard where we have never seen squirrels and it seems to be working better.
