This is the fourth hummer feeder I've tried, and I am so completely delighted with it that I'm thinking of buying additonal feeders to attract more of these wonderful birds to our yard. I much prefer a glass container for the nectar, and this one is very solid. The floating disk in the base keeps the nectar level up to the feeding ports; I've noticed that the hummers stay and feed much longer at a stretch than with other feeders I've had. Cleaning is so simple that it's easy to maintain the feeder on the proper schedule to ensure the safety of the birds. I give this feeder a 100% rating!

A major issue with hummer feeders is cleaning them, since the nectar must be changed often in hot weather and the feeder kept free of mold. This feeder disassembles so easily that cleaning takes no time at all. I *much* prefer a glass nectar reservoir over plastic, and this one has a good, solid glass bottle. The float disk in the base keeps the nectar level up to the feeding ports, which is another big plus. I've noticed that the bird feeds longer at a time than with other feeders I've had, so I'm able to enjoy watching it longer, as well. I've been so pleased with this feeder that I'm planning to buy at least one more to enjoy more hummers. (As is typical of these territorial little birds, the one that has found mine drives the others off.)
