We love this birdhouse for attracting bluebirds and discouraging House Sparrows! Sparrows find the wide oval entrance and shallow design unattractive and prefer not to nest here. The wire reduces the height of the entry hole, without reducing airflow, and keeps out predators. The double layer roof offers insulation to keep the nesting area cool in warm weather. Includes 72 inch tall sectional pole with black powder coated finish. Durable white recycled plastic roof with grooved rain guards to keep the nesting area dry. Eastern white pine. 5-1/2 x 7 x 10 inches.
