Goldfinches love this
Goldfinches have been pulling out nesting fluff for weeks. The ball is large enough for them to land on. Rain doesn't harm the it.

Goldfinches love this
I have two, or more, goldfinches who have been pulling out cotton tufts for the past several weeks. The size is easy for them to land on and they can easily fluff the fiber. I'm happy to see them carrying this nesting material off in their beaks.
