Needs at least one change
This feeder is great except where I live we have a lot of rain. Seed hulls get lodged between the screened bottom (great for rain) and the sides creating an area of constant wet grunge. We took one end off and slid the screen out and put silicone in the groove to prevent wet or dry seed hulls from getting lodged between the screen and the sides.

Attaching
This, for me, is almost impossible to attach to the feeder pole. The clamp with vinyl coating does not slide or even start to spread open. I say almost because I’ll think of some way to get it on. Hopefully. The feeder itself is well made. The cardinals will probably love it. I’m giving this a decent rating because the problem with attaching may be do to my lack of strength, not the product.

Merchant Response

Those clips are rigid to help them stick on the pole and as a result, can take a little strength to push on. We were so glad that this customer called us and could share some tips on how to install this feeder.
