Seed Hogs
Design flaw
I am finding that in spite of the wire cage around the feed tube, the squirrels are still able to hang upside down from the cage to reach in for food at the bottom.

Merchant Response

This feeder is designed to keep the squirrels from accessing the seed in the tube, but they can reach the food that spills onto the tray. They can still get a little food but they can't eat it all!

Wish you'd fix a design flaw
Love it, but looking for remediation of a design flaw
Love this design, really foils the squirrels, but seed gets compacted throughout, especially at the bottom, and it's almost impossible to clean. There needs to be a way to remove the bottom, so the tube can be completely flushed. It's just held on by metal, but impossible to bend them out of the way. Can't really put a plastic squirrel guard on top because it's on a garden hook, not hanging from a tree.
