I LOVE this feeder! I live in a swamp. It rains a lot. I neede something that would keep the dried mealworms dry - so they don't stink & rot. After hanging it for a few days, no birds came to the feeder. I took off the blue heart shaped jewel that hangs under the feeder. Within a few hours I had a pair of bluebirds eating at the feeder. Before long, other worm eating birds arrived. I like that when I need to refill it, I hold the bottom of the heart with one hand and remove the bowl with my other hand. So easy! When it rains, the dome keeps the worms dry. I wish all feeders were as easy to use as this one. Buy one. You won't regret it.
