We love this birdhouse for attracting bluebirds and discouraging House Sparrows! Sparrows find the wide oval entrance and shallow design unattractive and prefer not to nest here. The wire reduces the height of the entry hole, without reducing airflow, and keeps out predators. Grooved rain guards underneath all four sides of the roof keep the nesting area dry. Includes 72 inch tall sectional pole with black powder coated finish. Made from Eastern white pine. 5 x 7-1/4 x 9-5/8 inches tall.
