WindowAlert decals have a coating that brilliantly reflects ultraviolet light. Like any product, man-made or natural, our UV coating will degrade when exposed to the elements. The rate at which this coating degrades is a function of exposure to sunlight, inclement weather, and elevation. Depending upon these variables, decals should be replaced every 4-9 months.
This 395 nm Led UV black light flashlight can be used to test the quality or fading of the UV coating on your WindowAlert decals. Four AAA batteries are needed but not included. For best results, compare your OLD decals to a NEW decal--at night. You will see, its fun to do!
